The Z840E Ziricote Elite is my second Zaar guitar, joining my Z690E Koa. Both are remarkably well made and exceptionally stable—they practically never go out of tune. What I appreciate most is how forgiving they are: even if I strike one string more lightly than the others, it still comes through clearly and contributes to a full, musical sound. That responsiveness is something I simply don’t experience with my other acoustic guitars.
Wow!!! thats all i can say!!! Thank you!
Well, I was so happy with the Z840, I ordered the Z690. Musically, it sings like the multiple other Koa instruments I have. I have zero complaints about it's musical performance. Everyone has their own visual preferences, and, aesthetically, this particular edition of this model didn't suit me. Mind you, I had friends who LOVED it. One said it was a work of art that I could have simply hung on the wall in my music room. This is where Zaar came through with flying colors. When I requested to return it, the only thing I was asked was if I wanted to try another, but since I had just purchased the Z840, I declined. They graciously granted the return, sent an all-expense-paid return label, and accepted it back. Retrospectively, I'm almost sorry I returned it. But, score another point for Zaar's integrity. When I'm ready for yet another instrument, I'll turn to them first.
I've got to admit, I was skeptical that one could purchase this level of musical quality at such a reasonable price, but Zaar nailed it. I've got the top-of-the line Taylor 914ce builder's edition, as well as several others, and there are ways in which this Zaar excels. I vacillate between the two, often preferring the Z840. With their legitimate return policy, how can you go wrong? I dare say that few, if any, who try the Zaar would not be thrilled with it. Do yourself a favor... Go for it.
